KPL (KPL) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith received on March 17 a courtesy visit from Thai Ambassador to Laos Morakot Sriswasdi on the occasion of the latter’s appointment to the post.

(KPL) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith received on March 17 a courtesy visit from Thai Ambassador to Laos Morakot Sriswasdi on the occasion of the latter’s appointment to the post.

Expressed welcome to the Thai diplomat, Mr. Saleumxay appreciated Ms Morakot’s diplomatic appointment as a contribution to enhancing the friendship and cooperation between the Lao PDR and the Kingdom of Thailand, especially in the field of foreign affairs.

In reply, Ms. MsMorakot assured the host that she was ready to work with Lao authorities to contribute to strengthening the diplomatic relations between Laos and Thailand.
