KPL (KPL) Yunnan Puning New Energy Investment will carry out a solar power project in Sangthong district, Vientiane.

(KPL) Yunnan Puning New Energy Investment will carry out a solar power project in Sangthong district, Vientiane.

A Project Development Agreement (PDA) for the energy investment was signed last Friday between Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Khamchanh Vongsenboun and President of Yunnan Puning New Energy Investment Li Donglan.

The project aims to contribute to supporting the Lao government’s efforts to promote green growth through the development of alternative and clean energy. 

Solar power facilities will be installed in three villages namely Pak Thaep, Haiti and Hin Siew villages of Sangthong district.

Yunnan Puning New Energy Investment Co., Ltd. is a pioneer in energy development and construction, engineering design, R and D, and investment.

Its core business operations include capital and asset trading, and power station operation and management.
