(KPL) The China Radio International Lao office (CRI) announced winners of the Laos-China short video competition under the title ‘Khiengkhangkan’ or ‘beside each other’ in Vientiane on Aug 20.
The short video competition aimed to promote the 60th anniversary of Laos- China diplomatic relations.

Present at the award ceremony were Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Ounthouang Khaophan, Councilor to the Chinese Embassy to the Lao PDR Qin Chen and relevant officials.

Public-benefit Advertisement Award
Best Vlog Award
Best Short Film
Special Award
“The contest aims to promote cultural exchange between Laos and China, to make people of the two nations better understand each other, deepen relationship and friendship between Laos and China and support Lao film and documentary makers,” said Director of CRI (China Radio International) Vientiane, Ms MO Xiao Ling.
Laos-China short video competition drew 231 entries, including 47 from the Lao PDR and 184 from China.
