Khammouane Province held its 2026 annual job fair on October 13–14, offering 111 job positions requiring a total of 1,762 workers and providing job seekers with opportunities to meet employers and apply directly for vacancies.
(KPL) The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President of the Khammouane Provincial Administrative Committee Detsakda Manikham and Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Phongsaysack Inthalath, alongside representatives from relevant sectors and participating businesses.
The fair featured 23 booths offering recruitment, job placement and social security services. Participants also received career counselling, guidance on CV writing and information on skills training opportunities.
Organisers expected around 1,000 people to apply and be interviewed for jobs, 500 to receive career guidance and 300 to practise writing CVs.
The event aimed to connect job seekers with employers and promote employment opportunities that match labour market demand. Nam Theun 2 Power Company provided major support for the fair.
