KPL The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 7, 2026, opened the first short training course on inspection work at its headquarters in Vientiane, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of personnel responsible for inspection work within the ministry.

(KPL) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 7, 2026, opened the first short training course on inspection work at its headquarters in Vientiane, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of personnel responsible for inspection work within the ministry.

The opening ceremony was chaired and addressed by Anoupharb Vongnorkeo, Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of inspection work.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Inspection Committee of the Central Party Committee and the State Inspection Authority, as well as Party branch secretaries, deputy secretaries, and Party members responsible for inspection work within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A total of 37 participants, including eight women, attended the training.

The training aims to disseminate the spirit and outcomes of the 5th Nationwide Inspection Work Conference and enhance participants’ understanding of the Party’s perspectives, guidelines, and policies on inspection work.

It also seeks to strengthen participants’ ability to apply the knowledge gained to leadership, management, and inspection activities in practice, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection work within the ministry.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Anoupharb Vongnorkeo stressed the importance of inspection work, noting that the Party regards internal monitoring and inspection as a strategic task closely linked to Party leadership and state management.

He emphasized that inspection must be integrated into all areas of work and carried out regularly as an essential component of leadership and management.

The two-day short training course, held from September 7-8, features direct exchanges of knowledge and practical experience between participants and experienced lecturers from the Inspection Committee of the Central Party Committee and the State Inspection Authority.

Key topics include Party and state monitoring and inspection work, anti-corruption and corruption-prevention measures, monitoring inspection results, and addressing issues proactively from the outset.

Anoupharb Vongnorkeo urged participants to uphold their sense of responsibility, devote themselves to learning, and openly exchange practical experiences with lecturers and fellow participants to strengthen their professional capacity and ensure the training achieves its intended objectives.
