Myanmar President to Pay State Visit to Laos

KPL At the invitation of Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mr. Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, accompanied by his spouse and a high-level delegation, will pay a State Visit to the Lao PDR from July 3–5, 2026.

According to an announcement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit is being made to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Laos and Myanmar. It also aims to further strengthen the longstanding friendship and close cooperation between the two neighbouring countries, while promoting bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of their peoples.
