Laos, Cambodia Launch Logo Marking 70 Years of Diplomatic Relations

The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR and co-chaired by Mr. Anoupharb Vongnorkeo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, representing the Lao Government, and Mr. Pha Nong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Lao PDR, representing the Cambodian Government. It was attended by relevant officials from both sides.

The commemorative logo symbolises the long-standing friendship, solidarity and fruitful cooperation between Laos and Cambodia over the past seven decades. It will be used in official activities and commemorative events throughout 2026.

The two neighbouring countries share a border and long-standing historical, cultural and social ties. Since establishing diplomatic relations on July 5, 1956, Laos and Cambodia have continuously strengthened their traditional friendship and cooperation across various fields.

In 2019, the two countries elevated their bilateral relations to a Comprehensive and Long-Term Strategic Partnership, marking an important milestone in the development of bilateral ties and reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening cooperation for the benefit of their peoples.
