At the invitation of Mr Vilay Lakhamfong, Politburo member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee (PCC), Mr Tran Cam Tu, Politburo Member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, will lead a high-level delegation from the Party and State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on an official visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic on 9 April 2026.
At the invitation of Mr Vilay Lakhamfong, Politburo member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee (PCC), Mr Tran Cam Tu, Politburo Member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, will lead a high-level delegation from the Party and State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on an official visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic on 9 April 2026.
According to an announcement from the PCC’s Commission for External Relations, the visit aims to further strengthen and enhance the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic partnership between the two Parties, the two States, and the peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
