For Constituency 17, ten candidates, including two women, are competing for seven seats in the 10th National Assembly.

At the provincial level, 35 candidates, including 11 women, are contesting seats in the 5th Provincial People’s Council. The group includes candidates from provincial and district levels, as well as a representative from a state-owned enterprise. Six incumbent members are seeking re-election.

Officials say mobile polling units will play a key role in ensuring access to voting, particularly in remote areas of Phouvong District and among military personnel.
