The talks focused on advancing investment and trade in agriculture, with emphasis on implementing outcomes from the 2nd Joint Working Committee (JWC) meeting and encouraging the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries.

Additionally, the Lao delegation took part in the 2nd Lao-Brunei Bilateral Cooperation Committee Meeting and the Lao-Brunei Business Forum. The forum provided a platform for the private sector to explore joint business opportunities, particularly the export of Lao agricultural products to Brunei, with support from both governments.
