KPL Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand and her delegation arrived at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, Lao PDR, on April 21, 2025. They were warmly received by Mr. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Honorary Minister, along with senior officials and representatives from relevant sectors.

(KPL)  Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand and her delegation arrived at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, Lao PDR, on April 21, 2025. They were warmly received by Mr. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Honorary Minister, along with senior officials and representatives from relevant sectors.

The visit, taking place from April 21 to 24 at the invitation of the President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, aims to further strengthen the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between Laos and Thailand.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two neighboring countries, which were officially established in 1950. The visit by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn underscores the growing partnership across various sectors.

During her stay, Princess Sirindhorn will pay a courtesy call on President Thongloun Sisoulith and preside over the opening ceremony of a medical and public health academic conference commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Medical and Health Technology Training Program for Lao medical personnel.

Her Royal Highness will also attend the opening of the new building of the School of Security Culture in Vientiane Province and visit the Huay Son–Huay Sua Agricultural Development and Service Center in Vientiane Capital.
