(KPL) Recently developed Keng Khantai and Bung Lom Lok have just been opened to visitors in Kong Xedon, Saravan Province.

These destinations are getting popular among visitors especially during this time of the year when temperature is extremely high and tourist sites with waterfalls and rivers tend to be popular places for holiday goers.

Bung Lom Lok is a big lake sized over 40 ha. It is a natural lake surrounded with forests and rice fields. It is abundant of fauna especially wild ducks.

Keng Khantai and Bung Lom Lok are close to each other. They are located in Ban Tanpiao, Ban Donphaiban and Ban Chanlanxe.

Deputy Governor of Salavan Province Somchay Ounchit has urged the district and relevant authorities to pay attention to promoting the tourism of the two places and make sure their development is interconnected.

He has called on local entrepreneurs to ensure that their services are of good quality and at reasonable prices thus making the tourist sites popular to local and foreign visitors.

He has also called on relevant authorities to develop facilities including access roads, parking area, swimming areas and make them clean and safe to visitors and make their tourism business participatory so that it can be participated by local communities.
