KPL The Ministry of National Defence clinched the gold medal in the Men's Doubles 6-Red Snooker event at the 12th National Games, defeating host team Vientiane in a tightly contested final on 17 November 2025.

(KPL) The Ministry of National Defence clinched the gold medal in the Men's Doubles 6-Red Snooker event at the 12th National Games, defeating host team Vientiane in a tightly contested final on 17 November 2025.

The final, held at The King Snooker Club in Nonghai Village, Hadsayfong District, saw Souliya Minalavong and Phansa Khamluehan represent the Ministry of National Defence against Vientiane’s duo. The Defence team secured victory with a 5–3 win over the host team.

This year’s snooker competition includes five categories:

– Men’s Doubles 6-Red (7 teams)

– Men’s Singles 6-Red (7 teams, 14 players)

– Men’s Team 15-Red (7 teams)

– Men’s Doubles 15-Red (7 teams)

– Men’s Singles 15-Red (7 teams, 14 players)

Snooker events at the National Games will run until 23 November 2025.
