At its inaugural session this morning, the National Assembly’s 10th legislature approved the cabinet members proposed by Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone.

The confirmed leadership includes:

Mr Saleumxay Kommasith: Deputy Prime Minister and Standing Member of the Cabinet.

Mr Khamphan Phommathat: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice.

Mr Thongsalith Mangnormek: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Sports.

Gen. Khamlieng Outhakaysone: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence.

Mr Santiphab Phomvihane: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

Mr Thongsavanh Phomvihane: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Ms Bounkham Vorachit: Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR.
