(KPL) On February 3, 2026, Mrs. Bangon Xayasith, Member of the National Assembly (MNA) for Constituency No. 12 and Vice President of the Khammouane Provincial People’s Council, together with Members of the Provincial People’s Council (MPPC) for the Nakai District constituency, conducted visits to meet with residents in Nakai District, Khammouane Province.

The visit aimed to disseminate the outcomes of the 10th Ordinary Session of the National Assembly (9th Legislature) and the 1st Extraordinary Session and 10th Ordinary Session of the Khammouane Provincial People’s Council (4th Legislature). The delegation was welcomed by the District Party Secretary, the Chairman of the District Administration, civil servants, and local residents.

During the visit, meetings were held in Oudomsouk Village, at the District Meeting Hall, Houaymalai Village, and Phonsa-on Village. At each location, the delegation received reports on the implementation of village development plans, achievements in socio-economic development, and future development directions of the district.

On this occasion, members of the National Assembly and Provincial People’s Council briefed residents on the key achievements of the recent legislative sessions and expressed their gratitude to voters for their trust and support throughout the past five-year term. They reaffirmed their commitment to representing the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

As the term of the 9th National Assembly and the 4th Provincial People’s Council approaches its conclusion, the delegation also encouraged all eligible voters in Nakai District to actively participate in the upcoming elections for the 10th National Assembly and the 5th Provincial People’s Council, scheduled for February 22, 2026.

The officials expressed confidence that voters in the district will fully exercise their rights and contribute to the successful conduct of the elections in line with the objectives set by the National Election Committee.
