Division 2 Command Pays Courtesy Visit to Minister of National Defense

KPL On January 19, 2026, the Party Committee and Command of Division 2, led by Brigadier General Khamphiew Manivong, Political Chief Commander of Division 2, paid a courtesy visit to Lieutenant General Khamlieng Outhakaysone, Minister of National Defense, on the occasion of the 77th Anniversary of the Lao People’s Army (January 20, 1949 – January 20, 2026).

(KPL) On January 19, 2026, the Party Committee and Command of Division 2, led by Brigadier General Khamphiew Manivong, Political Chief Commander of Division 2, paid a courtesy visit to Lieutenant General Khamlieng Outhakaysone, Minister of National Defense, on the occasion of the 77th Anniversary of the Lao People’s Army (January 20, 1949 – January 20, 2026).

During the visit, Brigadier General Khamphiew Manivong, on behalf of the leadership, officers, and soldiers of Division 2, conveyed warm congratulations and best wishes to Lieutenant General Khamlieng Outhakaysone, wishing him good health, strength, and longevity, as well as continued success in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to him by the Party and the State. He also expressed confidence in the Minister’s continued leadership in guiding the Lao People’s Army, including Division 2, toward becoming a modern, strong, and increasingly developed force.

In response, Lieutenant General Khamlieng Outhakaysone expressed his sincere appreciation to the Division 2 Command for their thoughtful visit and kind sentiments. He extended his best wishes to Brigadier General Khamphiew Manivong and the delegation, as well as to all officers and soldiers of Division 2, encouraging them to remain healthy, united, and dedicated to fulfilling the tasks assigned by the Party and the State, while further strengthening discipline and overall capacity.
