(KPL) Senior Party and State leaders laid a wreath at the statue of President Kaysone Phomvihane in Vientiane on Thursday to mark the 105th anniversary of his birth.
The delegation was led by General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, who joined other high-ranking officials at the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum for the commemorative ceremony.
The event honoured President Kaysone’s central role in the country’s revolutionary struggle, national defence, and development. Leaders paid tribute to his legacy as the founding figure of modern Laos and the architect of the country’s reform programme.
The ceremony reflected the continuing reverence for President Kaysone’s contributions to the Party, the State, and the Lao people.
