Five new draft laws were approved to support national development in several critical sectors. These include a Law on Cybersecurity, which aims to strengthen digital safety and improve protection against online threats. A Law on Social Welfare was also passed to enhance support for vulnerable populations and improve social assistance systems.

In the legal sector, the National Assembly approved a Law on Public Prosecutors to ensure fairness and integrity in the justice system. The Law on General Education was adopted to improve the quality of education and ensure equal access to learning opportunities across the country. Additionally, a Law on Cultivation was passed to modernize agricultural practices and promote sustainable farming development.

In addition to these new laws, the National Assembly also reviewed and proposed amendments to five existing laws. These include the Law on Medicines and Medical Products, which aims to improve the regulation and safety of pharmaceuticals. The Law on Income Tax was updated to support economic growth and ensure fairness in the tax system. The Law on Signs was revised to improve clarity and public communication standards. Amendments to the Law on the Supreme People’s Court aim to enhance judicial effectiveness, and changes to the Law on Irrigation are intended to improve water management and support agricultural productivity.

These legislative developments demonstrate the National Assembly’s commitment to modernizing the country’s legal framework and promoting sustainable national development in response to changing social and economic conditions.
