On December 20, 2024, Mr. Bounleua Phandanouvong, Acting Head of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee (LPRPCC) Commission for External Relations, received a courtesy visit from Ms. Tatiana Pugh Morono, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The visit was part of her working trip to Laos from December 19 to 21, 2024.
(KPL) On December 20, 2024, Mr. Bounleua Phandanouvong, Acting Head of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee (LPRPCC) Commission for External Relations, received a courtesy visit from Ms. Tatiana Pugh Morono, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The visit was part of her working trip to Laos from December 19 to 21, 2024.
On this occasion, Mr. Bounleua Phandanouvong expressed his appreciation for the Venezuelan delegation’s visit to Laos and highly valued the outcomes of the working discussions between the two sides.
He briefed the delegation on the role of the Commission for External Relations, the prominent developments in Laos, and the implementation of the resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).
He also praised the achievements of the Venezuelan people in protecting and developing their nation. Additionally, he underscored the importance of enhancing the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties, states, and peoples of Laos and Venezuela.
Ms. Tatiana Pugh Morono expressed her sincere gratitude to Mr. Bounleua Phandanouvong for the warm welcome extended to her and her delegation. She expressed her delight at the opportunity to visit Laos again and witness the country's development.
She commended Laos' accomplishments and conveyed confidence that under the leadership of the LPRP, Laos would continue to achieve success in safeguarding and developing the nation.
