President Thongloun and President Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the strong friendship that has developed since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1995. Their discussions underscored a mutual commitment to expand cooperation further, especially as the countries approach the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relationship.
The leaders agreed to enhance socio-economic collaboration, focusing on creating a structured framework for dialogue to support growth in areas such as trade, investment, education, energy, and tourism.
President Thongloun extended an invitation for President Aliyev to make an official visit to Laos at a suitable time, which the Azerbaijani leader accepted. The meeting showcased both nations’ commitment to building a more robust and comprehensive partnership for the future.
