(KPL/VNA) Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on July 31 hosted a reception for President of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor Office of Laos Xaysana Khotphouthone.
Xaysana Khotphouthone said that the purpose of his visit is to enhance and broaden cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office to the Supreme Court of Cambodia.
He briefed Hun Manet on the outcomes of his visit, including the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to continue strengthening cooperation between the two offices; training and continued exchange of visits as well as sharing of experience and information on combating cross-border crimes and drug trafficking; and mutual support at regional and international forums.
PM Hun Manet lauded the long-standing friendship between Cambodia and Laos and praised the progress of cooperation in all fields between the two countries.
He also congratulated the above-said outcomes, which, he said, will contribute to and support the bilateral collaboration to be stronger and more prosperous.
The leader also encouraged the continuation of cooperation between the two countries’ law enforcement agencies.
