KPL A high-level delegation from Ha Tinh Province paid an official visit to Khammouane Province on April 2 to extend New Year greetings ahead of the upcoming Lao New Year (B.E. 2569).

(KPL) A high-level delegation from Ha Tinh Province paid an official visit to Khammouane Province on April 2 to extend New Year greetings ahead of the upcoming Lao New Year (B.E. 2569).

The delegation was led by Duong Tat Thang, a member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council. He and his delegation were warmly received by Xaysana Khotphouthone, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Khammouane Provincial Party Committee, along with senior provincial officials.

During the meeting, Duong Tat Thang conveyed his best wishes to the provincial leadership, civil servants, party members, security forces, and the multi-ethnic people of Khammouane. He expressed hopes for good health, continued success, and sustained development for the province.

Xaysana Khotphouthone thanked the delegation for their visit and kind gestures during this important traditional festival. He also extended New Year greetings in return to the leadership and people of Ha Tinh.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the long-standing friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam, with particular emphasis on deepening ties between Khammouane and Ha Tinh provinces.

Officials expressed confidence that the bilateral relationship will continue to grow stronger and remain enduring in the years ahead.
