(KPL) General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, his spouse, and a high-level delegation of Party and government officials will pay a state visit to the Lao PDR from December 1-2.
The visit comes at the invitation of Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and State President Thongloun Sisoulith, and his spouse.
According to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit aims to further enhance the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, and peoples of Laos and Vietnam.
General Secretary To Lam is also scheduled to attend the grand celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and co-chair the 2026 Annual High-Level Meeting between the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
