Vietnamese Consul General Presents Credentials to Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs

KPL Vietnamese Consul General in Luang Prabang, Vu Ngoc Ly, officially presented his credentials to the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.


During the ceremony, Deputy Minister Anouparb Vongnorkeo congratulated Mr. Ly on his appointment and expressed confidence that, with his extensive experience, the new Consul General will contribute to further strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Vongnorkeo highlighted the significant potential for economic, forestry, and tourism development in northern Laos, as well as the strong cooperation between Lao and Vietnamese provinces. He expressed hope that Mr. Ly would continue to serve as a vital bridge, encouraging more Vietnamese businesses to invest in northern Laos, thereby bringing mutual benefits and deepening bilateral relations.

In response, Mr. Vu Ngoc Ly affirmed that during his tenure, he will make every effort to enhance cooperation between localities in northern Laos and Vietnam, contributing to the continued growth of the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive partnership between the two nations.
