Officials of line ministries, mass organisations and educational institutes dressed up in colours portraying the growth and development in their sectors. They marched in synchronous movements with waving hands holding national and party flags. Bigger flags and other symbols formed by marchers could be seen from aerial views.

Marchers repeated the slogan man yun which means long live the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, and the Spirit of December 2.
