An official welcome ceremony in honour of President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Heng Samrin and his delegation was held by President of the National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihanh today at the National Assembly in Vientiane.
At a bilateral meeting, held right after the welcome ceremony, both sides highly valued the sound friendship and cooperation between the two national assemblies of Laos and Cambodia over the past year.
Both sides agreed to continue to exchange delegations at all levels, exchange information on the performance of their legislative bodies, and support each other in regional and international stage.
