KPL (KPL) Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith sent today, Oct 14, a message of sympathy to his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe over the losses and damages caused by Typhoon Hagibis which hit Japan between Oct 12 and 13, 2019.

(KPL) Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith sent today, Oct 14, a message of sympathy to his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe over the losses and damages caused by Typhoon Hagibis which hit Japan between Oct 12 and 13, 2019.

The message partly read: I was sadden by learning that Typhoon Hagibis hit the southeastern and central parts of Japan between October 12 and 13, 2019 causing losses to lives and severe damages to property, buildings and infrastructural facilities in the region.  

Prime Minister Thongloun told his Japanese counterpart that the government and people of the Lao PDR believe that under his guidance and leadership, Japanese people will be able to overcome obstacles in addressing impacts of the natural disaster and have normalcy restored in the near future.
