(KPL/VNA) Indonesian rescue teams on January 22 recovered six additional bodies at the site of the ATR 42-500 aircraft crash on the slopes of Mount Bulusaraung.

An Indonesian army officer involved in the joint search and rescue operation said the bodies were found at different locations within a roughly 50-metre radius of where the first victim had been discovered.

Earlier, rescue teams had recovered two bodies, one male and one female. The aircraft’s black box has also been retrieved.

The ATR 42-500, carrying 10 people, crashed on January 17 after taking off from Yogyakarta en route to Makassar.

For millions of people in China, Chinese New Year’s Eve begins the same way: a long journey home, a table slowly filling with dishes, and conversations that stretch late into the night. It’s the one evening of the year when distance shrinks - between cities, generations, and busy lives. Then, at 8 p.m., something else happens. A familiar opening melody fills living rooms across the country. The Spring Festival Gala begins. This live television show, broadcast every Chinese New Year’s Eve since 1983, is recognized by Guinness World Records as the most-watched annual television programme on the planet.
