Zoomlion Smart Industrial City stands as a shining example of China’s advanced intelligent manufacturing, with the company reporting that overseas revenue accounted for more than 55% of its total in the first half of 2025, according to Ms. Li Bin, Deputy General Manager of Zoomlion’s Overseas Company.

On October 27, a delegation of ASEAN media representatives visited the highly automated industrial complex in Changsha, witnessing firsthand the remarkable efficiency and technological innovation driving Zoomlion’s operations.
Ms. Li highlighted that within the Smart Industrial City, a digger rolls off the production line every six minutes on average, an aerial work platform every 7.5 minutes, and a mobile crane every 18 minutes. In the concrete machinery smart manufacturing park alone, 32 intelligent production lines operate at full capacity, supported by autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs) and synchronized industrial robots. Over 90% of key processes are automated, enabling the production of a concrete pump truck every 27 minutes.
The Zoomlion Smart Industrial City integrates advanced technologies such as intelligent production scheduling, industrial AI, and digital twin systems, achieving fully intelligent and interconnected production processes. Four major host parks—dedicated to concrete machinery, earthmoving machinery, aerial work platforms, and hoisting machinery—along with a key components center, are now fully operational.
To meet the diverse and customized demands of global markets, Zoomlion continues to enhance the localization of its research and development. The company has established 13 overseas R&D and manufacturing bases and over 30 primary business hubs worldwide. Its products and services now reach more than 170 countries and regions.

In Southeast Asia, Zoomlion’s engineering machinery—including construction hoisting and concrete equipment—has contributed to landmark infrastructure projects such as Indonesia’s Jakarta–Bandung High-Speed Railway, Brunei’s Temburong Bridge, Vietnam’s Long Thành International Airport, Thailand’s Landmark Waterfront skyscraper in Bangkok, and Malaysia’s East Coast Rail Link. These projects span critical sectors such as transportation, energy, mining, ports, and urban development.
As Zoomlion continues to expand globally and drive technological progress, it has evolved from a traditional manufacturer into a leading technology-driven enterprise. The company has developed a series of world-class innovations, including the world’s longest 101-meter carbon fiber boom pump truck and the largest tower crane globally with a lifting capacity of 23,800 ton-meters. Through these achievements, Zoomlion continues to exemplify the strength and global appeal of China’s intelligent manufacturing.
