President Thongloun to Attend SCO Summit and Pay Official Visits to China and Vietnam

KPL At the invitation of Mr. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao PDR, will lead a Lao delegation to attend the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit from August 31 to September 1, 2025, in Tianjin, China. He will also take part in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Fascist War and continue his working visit to China from September 3 to 6, 2025.

(KPL) At the invitation of Mr. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao PDR, will lead a Lao delegation to attend the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit from August 31 to September 1, 2025, in Tianjin, China. He will also take part in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Anti-Fascist War and continue his working visit to China from September 3 to 6, 2025.

At the invitation of Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Thongloun will also attend the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2, 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam.

During this trip, President Thongloun is scheduled to hold meetings with leaders of several friendly countries, as well as member and observer states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), with the aim of strengthening and expanding bilateral relations and cooperation.
