Xayabury Province has presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Kieu Thi Hang Phuc, Head of the Consulate General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Northern Laos, in recognition of her contributions to regional development and the strengthening of Lao-Vietnamese friendship.

(KPL) Xayabury Province has presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Kieu Thi Hang Phuc, Head of the Consulate General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Northern Laos, in recognition of her contributions to regional development and the strengthening of Lao-Vietnamese friendship.
The ceremony took place in Luang Prabang Province and was presided over by Mr. Duangta Sayvout, Deputy Secretary of the Xayabury Provincial Party Committee.
Ms. Kieu served as the head of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Northern Laos from 2022 to 2025, during which time she played a key role in fostering cooperation between Xayabury and Vietnamese provinces.
In his remarks, Mr. Duangta expressed deep appreciation for her dedication, highlighting her efforts in promoting and facilitating successful collaborative projects between Xayabury and its Vietnamese counterparts.
In response, Ms. Kieu expressed her heartfelt thanks to the leadership of Xayabury Province for their continued support, particularly in caring for the Vietnamese community living in the region. Although her official tenure has concluded, she pledged to continue supporting cooperation between the northern provinces of the Lao PDR and Vietnam in various fields to ensure the continued success of joint initiatives.
