Five biopharmaceutical products available in Cuban pharmacies

(KPL/Prensa Latina) A group of five medications, including a nasal drop for respiratory infections, is available to patients in pharmacies upon prescription, the scientific institution that developed the products announced.

These are Nasalferon 5M, nasal drops for respiratory infections, which were added to the group of medications for the treatment of Covid-19, now available in major municipal pharmacies, as well as Hebermin 30 grams, a cream for bedsores and burns.

On its social media, the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) reported that patients will be able to purchase Proctokinase, a suppository for the treatment of hemorrhoids, and Hebertrans, a transfer factor for people with cellular immunodeficiency, shingles, herpes simplex virus, cancer, and allergic and autoimmune diseases.

In addition, all pharmacies will be able to sell Maternitest II pregnancy test strips, which can be purchased without a prescription.

In its publication, the CIGB displays the products with their presentation, indications, and prices in local currency.
