(KPL/Prensa Latina) The First International Space Congress, "A Shared Future," holds sessions in Caracas with guests from China, Russia, Brazil, France, and Venezuela to discuss the progress and challenges of that sector.

Organized by the Bolivarian Government and the Science and Technology Ministry, this event will run at Jose Felix Ribas Hall of the Teresa Carreno Theater and is part of the Homeland Plan and its Seven Major Transformations 2025-2031.

Venezuelan Vice President for Science, Technology, Education, and Health, Gabriela Jimenez, informed that delegates from the scientific, technological, academic, and professional communities in the space sector will attend the event.

Jimenez explained that the meeting serves as a transformative platform that integrates national experience, the vision of strategic allies, and the values of Bolivarian thought, aimed at promoting a space future toward the common good and world peace.

The minister stressed that the meeting is organized in the context of the 18th anniversary of the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities (ABAE) and will be “a key platform for dialogue and global cooperation.”

She noted that the event “represents an unparalleled opportunity for professional networking, knowledge transfer, and the establishment of synergies that strengthen the region’s position on the global space agenda.”
