President and Party Secretary General Welcomes Cambodian Defense Minister

KPL On October 14, 2025, at the Party Central Office, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and President of the Lao PDR, received a courtesy call from General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Cambodia, and his delegation, who were on a working visit to Laos from October 13–16, 2025.

(KPL) On October 14, 2025, at the Party Central Office, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and President of the Lao PDR, received a courtesy call from General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Cambodia, and his delegation, who were on a working visit to Laos from October 13–16, 2025.

The Party Secretary General and President warmly welcomed the Cambodian delegation and highly valued the visit and working session between General Tea Seiha’s delegation and the Lao Ministry of National Defense. He noted that the visit contributes significantly to strengthening the long-standing traditional friendship and cooperation between Laos and Cambodia, making their relations deeper and broader. It also enhances mutual assistance and coordination between the Lao and Cambodian armed forces, built on the spirit of sincere and time-tested solidarity.

Mr. Thongloun emphasized that Laos and Cambodia have always maintained close cooperation in safeguarding and developing their respective nations. In recent years, relations and cooperation between the two armed forces have continued to progress, becoming increasingly strong and modern.

General Tea Seiha expressed his sincere gratitude to the Party Secretary General and President for the warm welcome. He briefed Mr. Thongloun on the objectives of his working visit to Laos and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. He also pledged to promote closer collaboration between the Lao and Cambodian armed forces to ensure lasting peace, stability, and prosperity for both nations and peoples
