
(KPL) Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Khampheng Saysompheng on Mar 2 received a courtesy call from Mr Ahmet Idem Akay, new Ambassador of Turkey to the Lao PDR.
During the talk, Mr Khampheng Saysompheng appreciated the new ambassador upon his appointment to the post and expressed his confidence that Mr Ahmet Idem Akay will successfully fulfill his diplomatic mission and strengthen the cooperation between Laos and Turkey, especially on labour and social welfare.
The ambassador also expressed his hope that the Lao PDR and Turkey will increase cooperation in a number of areas over years to come.
