KPL - Asean 2024 Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), one of Vietnam's leading state-owned industrial conglomerates, is showcasing a wide range of products at the Laos-Vietnam Trade Fair 2026 (VIETLAO EXPO 2026), held from July 16–20 at the Lao-ITECC Exhibition Center in Vientiane Capital, as part of efforts to expand its presence in the Lao market and strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.

Speaking on the sidelines of the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Chief Executive Officer of Vinachem, said the trade fair provides an important platform to promote trade, investment and business cooperation between Laos and Vietnam while introducing the group's high-quality products to Lao consumers.
The exhibition features household products, chemical and bio-fertilizers, detergents, floor-cleaning solutions, dry-cell batteries and other industrial products. Vinachem currently exports to more than 80 countries worldwide.
During the fair, Vinachem also signed a cooperation agreement with Laos' Phongsavanh Group, aimed at expanding business collaboration and further strengthening the longstanding friendship and comprehensive partnership between Laos and Vietnam ahead of the 50th anniversary of the Laos-Vietnam Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in 2027.
Also participating is Hanoi Household Products Joint Stock Company, a Vinachem subsidiary, which is making its debut at the exhibition. Chief Executive Officer Mr. Le Viet Phuong said the company hopes to establish distribution partnerships in Laos, noting that the Lao and Vietnamese consumer markets share similar characteristics and growth potential.
Now in its 20th year, the Laos-Vietnam Trade Fair has become an important platform for promoting bilateral trade, which is projected to reach US$4 billion in 2026, with a long-term target of US$10 billion by 2030.
This year's exhibition features 250 booths, including 120 booths representing 80 Vietnamese companies. Vinachem occupies 108 square metres—equivalent to 12 standard booths—where nine member companies are displaying products across four main categories: fertilizers, household products, tyres, and batteries.
