(KPL) On February 10, 2026, candidates for the 10th National Assembly (NA) representing Constituency 13 (Savannakhet Province) and candidates for the 5th Provincial People’s Council (PPC) officially launched their election campaigns in Vilabouly District.

The campaign sessions were held at two primary locations: the Angkham (Nam Mahy) village cluster and the Vilabouly District Hall.

The events were attended by district authorities, key local officials, village administrations, and a large number of eligible voters from the surrounding communities.

Direct Engagement with Voters

During the sessions, candidates introduced their backgrounds and shared their visions for local and national development. A significant portion of the event was dedicated to an open forum, allowing residents to share comments and proposals. These public insights are intended to inform and improve future policy-making at both the provincial and national levels.

In their closing remarks, the candidates urged all eligible citizens to fulfill their patriotic duty by casting their ballots on Sunday, February 22, 2026. The campaign emphasized the importance of achieving the "Four Expectations" as outlined in the Party Central Committee’s Politburo Resolution No. 26/PCC regarding the guidance of the upcoming elections.
