(KPL)  The Lao Front for National Development convened a high-level meeting on April 17 to review preparations for its upcoming 12th Nationwide Congress.

The meeting, held at LFND headquarters in Vientiane, was chaired by Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of the LFND.

Attendees included deputy secretaries of the Party Committee, members of the Standing Committee, and heads of departments, reflecting the significance of the upcoming congress.

During the session, participants reviewed key reports on personnel arrangements, draft content for the congress, and proposed amendments to the LFND’s statutes for its 12th term. Discussions focused on ensuring organizational readiness and strengthening the framework guiding the Front’s future direction.

Comrade Kikeo provided guidance on final preparations, emphasizing the importance of coordination, discipline, and thorough planning to ensure the congress meets its objectives.

The 12th Nationwide Congress is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the LFND’s continued efforts to promote national unity and socio-economic development in Laos.
