Champasak Wins Gold in Men’s Double Sepaktakraw at National Games
(KPL) On November 16, 2025, Champasak Province secured the gold medal in the Men's Double Sepaktakraw event at the 12th National Games after defeating Savannakhet Province in a closely contested final.
The final match ended with a 2–1 victory for the Champasak team, solidifying their dominance in the doubles format. Earlier in the semi-finals, Champasak overcame the team from the Ministry of Public Security, also by 2–1, while Savannakhet defeated the Ministry of National Defence by the same score.
The Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defence both claimed bronze medals as semi-finalists.
The victory marks a significant achievement for Champasak Province, highlighting their strength in one of Laos’ most popular traditional sports.
