Lao Foreign Minister to Attend EU Indo-Pacific Forum in Brussels
(KPL) Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Thongsavanh Phomvihane will lead a Lao delegation to the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, scheduled to take place from 20–21 November 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.
The visit follows an official invitation from Ms. Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
In addition to participating in the forum, Mr. Thongsavanh is expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from several EU member states, as well as with officials from various countries across the Asia-Pacific region. The discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation and advancing shared interests between Laos and its partners in the Indo-Pacific and Europe.
