Many Parties Extend Congratulations on Vietnam’s 80th National Day

KPL - Asean 2024 Leaders of Champasack Province and representatives of various organizations extended congratulations to Ms. Ta Phuong Dung, Consul General of Vietnam in Southern Laos, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).

(KPL) Leaders of Champasack Province and representatives of various organizations extended congratulations to Ms. Ta Phuong Dung, Consul General of Vietnam in Southern Laos, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).

On August 26-27, 2025, the delegation from Champasack Province, led by Mr. Saythong Sayavong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, and Mr. Somboun Heuangvongsa, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Governor of Champasack, paid a courtesy visit at the Consulate in Pakse City.

On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Champasack, Mr. Saythong conveyed warm congratulations to the Vietnamese Party, Government, and people, and praised Vietnam’s achievements over the past 80 years. He also highly valued the Consulate’s efforts in promoting the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam, particularly between Champasack Province and the central and southern provinces of Vietnam.

Ms. Ta Phuong Dung expressed her gratitude for the good wishes and reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to further strengthening traditional friendship, special solidarity, and cooperation with Laos, especially with Champasack Province.

In addition, 30 delegations from the Lao-Vietnam Friendship Association of Champasack Province, political, socio-economic, cultural, defense, and security sectors, mass organizations, as well as Pakse City and district leaders, also visited the Consulate to offer their congratulations.
