Made in Laos 2026 Trade Fair Opens in Vientiane

(KPL) The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Santiphab Phomvihane, Minister of Industry and Commerce Malaythong Kommasith, representatives of relevant government sectors, businesses and invited guests.
The nine-day fair, running from October 3–11, is organised by the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the Huaphanh Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry serving as co-host this year.
More than 204 booths from 17 provinces and 160 business units are showcasing Made in Laos products, ODOP goods, handicrafts, textiles, agricultural and processed products, food and beverages, furniture, industrial goods, tourism, services and logistics.

Businesses from Thailand, Vietnam, China and Indonesia are also participating, creating opportunities for Lao businesses to connect with international partners and expand their markets.
The fair includes business-matching sessions, seminars, technical exchanges and promotional activities designed to help businesses reach consumers, develop partnerships, expand exports and reduce reliance on imports.
The event also features a special pavilion highlighting the culture, traditions, lifestyle and tourism attractions of Huaphanh Province.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to businesses and organisations that supported the organisation of the fair.
