The ambitious project, spanning 720 mu (approximately 48 hectares), is expected to deliver more than one million square meters of integrated commercial, industrial, and innovation space upon completion, Jiang Nan gave an interview during Journalists from across the Asia-Pacific region visited on 25 May.
Officials describe the development as a strategic engine for high-quality economic growth, combining industrial innovation, financial services, exhibition facilities, logistics, and urban infrastructure within a single integrated hub.
Key components of the project include the Zhigu Industrial Park Inno Valley, the Sci-Tech Innovation and Financial Services Center, the Agricultural Products Exhibition Center, a commercial complex, a five-star hotel, and a Civil Aviation Emergency Support Center.

“This project is entirely government-owned, reflecting a long-term strategic vision to strengthen the modern economy and create a new platform for regional development,” Mr. Jiang said.
Construction of the project is progressing rapidly. Phase I, comprising Sections A, B, and C, has already attracted investment totaling 2.98 billion yuan. Fourteen industrial office buildings and a modern convention and exhibition center have been completed.
The first phase of the Agricultural Products Exhibition Center is already operational, while the Inno Valley and Sci-Tech Innovation and Financial Services Center are scheduled to open next month. Once completed, the operational area will exceed 420,000 square meters.
The industrial park is being positioned around four key sectors — the digital economy, science and technology incubation, financial services, and convention and exhibition industries — with the aim of building a new innovation ecosystem for businesses and investors.

Local authorities believe the project will play a central role in Fuyang’s long-term urban development strategy, supporting its transformation into a modern “Type-I large city” connected to the broader Huaihe River economic corridor.
Supported by an expanding railway and aviation network, the Fuyang Inno Industrial Park is expected to become a major industrial and commercial gateway, strengthening Fuyang’s role as a regional hub for technology, digital innovation, and modern services.
