Russia ready to increase supplies of coffee, tropical fruits from Brazil — minister

(KPL/TASS) Russia is ready to develop cooperation with Brazil in the agricultural sector, including increasing supplies of coffee and fruits from this country, Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said.
"We are ready to develop cooperation in agriculture. This also includes increasing supplies of coffee, tropical fruits, and meat, which are popular in Russia, and intensifying initiatives in areas such as plant breeding, seed production, and agricultural education," he said at the plenary session of the Russian-Brazilian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
Russia is also open to cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, the minister added. "An important issue here is drug registration. We look forward to close dialogue with the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency," he noted.
