Prime Minister Receives Delegation from Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment

(KPL) Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, received a courtesy call from a delegation of Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on April 29 at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The delegation was led by Suchart Chomklin during their official working visit to Laos from April 28–30.
The Prime Minister extended a warm welcome to the delegation and expressed high appreciation for the visit. He noted that the mission contributes significantly to strengthening the long-standing good-neighbor relations between Laos and Thailand.
He also highlighted that the visit further enhances cooperation between the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, promoting closer collaboration and more effective outcomes in the environmental sector.
During the meeting, Mr. Suchart expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the Lao side and briefed the Prime Minister on the objectives of the visit. He emphasized that discussions focused on strengthening cooperation with Lao counterparts, particularly in addressing transboundary haze pollution.
The Prime Minister concluded by wishing the Thai delegation a successful and productive mission during their stay in the Lao PDR.
