(KPL) Sayaboury officially launched the ODOP Trade Fair for the Elephant Festival 2026 on Feb 10, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors to promote local products, boost trade and attract visitors.

The opening ceremony at the provincial stadium was presided over by Mr. Douangta Xayavout, Chairman of the Provincial Administration and Chairman of the Elephant Festival Organizing Committee, with participation from provincial and district leaders.

According to Mr. Sayphone Bounxu, Head of the Provincial Department of Industry and Commerce, the fair aims to expand market opportunities for local producers and strengthen business networks.

The event features around 300 booths showcasing agricultural products, handicrafts, household goods, food and beverages, and signature ODOP items. Businesses from eight provinces nationwide are also participating, highlighting regional trade cooperation.
