Havana hosts Int’l Convention Cubambiente 2025

(KPL/Prensa Latina) More than 700 delegates from Cuba and a dozen countries are participating in the 15th International Convention on Environment and Development, Cubambiente 2025, at the Havana-based Conference Center until July 5.
Held every two years, the event officially begins this Wednesday with the attendance of professionals from Argentina, Canada, Chile, Spain, the United States, Haiti, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia, and Suriname, among other nations.
Under the slogan “More Awareness for a Sound Environment,” keynote speeches, panels, and other activities within the Cubambiente 2025 event will span important and current issues ranging from environmental education to climate change.
The Convention includes an Exhibition Fair, a showcase for environmental innovations and projects, visible and accessible to all participants.
Here, the exchange of technologies and experiences is encouraged to promote the implementation of sustainable practices in different contexts.
The extensive program also covers the 15th Congress on Environmental Education for Sustainable Development, the 14th Congress on Protected Areas, the 12th Congress on Environmental Management, and the 10th Congress on Ecosystem and Biodiversity Management, among others.
