National Assembly Holds Training on Justice Request Management Database

KPL - Asean 2024 The National Assembly Standing Committee organized a training workshop on the use of the justice request management database on May 23-24 in Keo Oudom District.


The workshop was chaired by Thoummaly Vongphachan, Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairperson of the Committee for Law and Justice.

Participants included vice chairpersons of the committee, directors general and deputy directors general, senior secretaries, department heads and National Assembly staff, along with representatives from the People’s Council offices of Luang Prabang Province and Khammouane Province. Representatives from Westminster Foundation for Democracy and other relevant stakeholders also attended.

Mrs. Thoummaly said the training was aimed at strengthening readiness, awareness and common understanding in the use of a modern statistical management system for justice requests.

She noted that the database system is designed to securely collect, consolidate and manage justice request data while improving convenience and efficiency for both the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly as a whole.

The workshop featured presentations and hands-on training sessions on the use of the justice request management database, including system login procedures for different account types, online submission of requests, data entry, request tracking and information searches.

Participants also received guidance on procedures for summarizing, reporting and transferring requests within the system.

During the training, attendees actively exchanged views and provided feedback on technical issues and operational procedures to ensure common understanding and effective future implementation of the database system.
