(KPL/Prensa Latina) The International Sports Fair was inaugurated in this capital on Monday, as part of the events to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER).

Havana’s Coliseum of the Sports City will be the venue of this second edition, which is aimed at creating spaces for the new forms of management that exist in Cuba and a direct way for trade with foreign entities interested in investing in the sports sector.

In addition, the fair aims to stimulate the commercialization of national products and services to strengthen the country’s sports system.

Starting on Monday until Thursday, business rounds and presentations of products and services related to sports will be held, with the presence of 92 entities, including 15 foreign firms, and 26 forms of non-state management.

Representatives from Canada, Colombia, China, Spain, France, Guatemala, Italy, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Sierra Leone and Cuba responded to the call on this occasion.

INDER President Osvaldo Vento stated that they have worked hard, in spite of limitations, to find solutions to hold an extensive program of events of a professional and recreational nature to meet the participants’ needs.

Throughout the week, as reported, there will be meetings with athletes and sports glories, and commercial and professional actions will be complemented by expo-sales, gastronomic offers and recreational events.
