In his address, National Assembly President Saysomphone Phomvihane expressed pride in the media's role in bridging the gap between the legislative body and the public. He highlighted the critical role journalists play in disseminating accurate and timely information on parliamentary activities and national policies.
Mr. Saysomphone commended the dedication and resilience of media personnel working in remote and challenging areas, emphasizing their contributions to enhancing public understanding of government initiatives.
He extended warm regards to all journalists and media staff, acknowledging their professional efforts in supporting the country’s socio-economic development.
He underscored the importance of fostering closer cooperation between state media and various sectors to ensure effective communication of policies and legislative processes. He urged media professionals to continue upholding journalistic integrity and to adapt to the evolving media landscape.
In recognition of their service, NA President lauded the perseverance and commitment of the National Assembly’s media team, applauding their role in promoting transparency and public engagement.
